Reiki Therapies
Usui Reiki attunements are available as a distant option for people who are not able to attend a class in-person for whatever reason. The subjects covered are the same as hands on,
in-person.
It is important that the student fully understands the contents of the manual so they feel comfortable and competent to utilise the wonderful Reiki energy in their lives, whether for themselves or others.
When the Reiki tuition is taken in-person, it is possible for the techniques to be practiced in class and any questions can be answered immediately, as well as providing the possibility for feedback. However, when Reiki is learnt via a distance course this is not possible. Although support is always readily available, it is not always convenient for the student to stop in the middle of what they are doing (especially if providing a Reiki session for someone else) to email with a query. Also, it is much more difficult for both the teacher and the student to monitor progress.
Therefore, my Usui Reiki distance attunements include some coursework which must be completed before I provide a certificate. There is no pass or fail, as such, although I may hold off certification until I feel happy that the student is comfortable with utilising the techniques for each level.
The student may also be required to complete case studies and to keep a diary for a short while after their attunement.
By being able to monitor the student’s progress, I can ensure that appropriate standards are maintained and that the student understands the techniques and what is required of them as an energy healing practitioner. This then means that the student feels comfortable and confident with what they have learned, and are happy to use the Reiki on themselves and/or others.
I will supply fully comprehensive manuals in pdf format. I will either send to you via email, or they can be downloaded from my Yahoo group.
Certificates are awarded on successful completion of the course.

Full ongoing support is provided for distant attunements as it is for in-person attunements.

Please note, Karuna Reiki® cannot be taught via the distant attunement method.
All attunements can be sent on a “one to one” basis or by using the “call-in method” of attuning - this is an ideal way of receiving attunements if you are interrupted or unable to be home to receive your attunement at the appointment time. Just let me know which you would prefer? With my distance attunements, there are no barriers with time and attunements will reach the recipient when they call it in.
Free Reiki Attunements
Here at Chakrakalm, I would like to make Reiki available to
anyone who feels the calling and wishes to be able to use it.
I am not willing to hand out free certificates and free attunements
willy nilly to everyone who wants one.
However, I do realise requests for free attunements & certificates will be made.
In order to address this 'need', every few months I will supply a limited number of free attunements and e-certificates.

The Importance of an Energy Exchange.
To live in balance & harmony, it is helpful to feel comfortable with the concept of giving and receiving, which is the essence of an exchange of energy. The exchange of energy does not always have to be in the form of money; it can be in any form of exchange that is acceptable. Amongst close family members and friends, exchanges of energy are frequent anyway and specific requests are usually unnecessary.
To reduce the burden of obligation, an exchange of energy is an important part of the healing process. It is far better to treat people who are keen and willing to transform themselves, than those not interested or prepared to receive.
Most practitioners offer concessions to those unable to afford a treatment. Similarly, Reiki Masters usually offer reduced fees to students who wish to learn and are unable to afford the full tuition cost.
No one will be turned away for their inability to pay, but a donation of a £5.00 postal order would be appreciated.
Donations will be used to purchase raffle prizes to help raise funds for the building repair work fund at the local spiritualist church which I attend. I will also use some of the funds donated to purchase dog &cat food for our local animal shelter which is run by the RSPCA.
The applicant Must complete their tasks, do the case studies and send to me via post or email. This is so that I will know that you have completed the degree satisfactorily,
before I put a signature to a certificate confirming this.

As your Reiki Master/Teacher, help and guidance that you may need does not stop as soon as the attunement has been passed and the certificate issued.
