Not all Insurance companies and Reiki Federations will insure Reiki Practitioners or Reiki Masters, if they have received their attunements remotely /sent via distance method. Some will only allow practitioners to join or will insure practitioners/masters if they have been attuned in person.To become a certified member of and to be insured through The UK Reiki Federation, you must have been attuned via the face to face-hands on, in person method, and provide evidence of having done so.
The international Reiki Federation will accept and recognise Reiki Masters who have received distance attunements.
