To take this course you must have been a Reiki Master for at least 6 months
What is Crystal Reiki?
Crystal Reiki may be defined as the use of crystals in combination with the channelling of Reiki (healing energies) to stimulate the self-healing mechanisms of the mind, body and spirit.
It is not necessary to use crystals in order to give an effective Reiki treatment and, likewise, not all crystal healers are Reiki Practitioners.
Whilst crystal healing is not always taught in Reiki courses and vice-versa, as many people experience positive improvements in their health when receiving treatments using a combination of Reiki energies and Crystal Healing - treatments and courses in Crystal Reiki are available through me here at Chakrakalm Reiki Therapies.
History of Crystal Reiki
Crystals have been used for healing, amongst other purposes, for thousands of years and by many ancient cultures - including Atlantis.
All Crystal Reiki Masters are attuned with the Life Cycle Energy Symbols, which were the actual symbols used in Atlantean initiations.
Although none of the energy therapies in Atlantis were called 'crystal reiki', the techniques are very similar and have much the same effect.
Modern Reiki Healing dates from the Re-discovery of Reiki by Mikao Usui in Japan in the 1890s.
During the last few years, courses in 'Crystal Reiki' have become more readily available and are increasingly offered by Colleges and Reiki Masters who have a special interest in amplifying their Reiki energies with the inherent power of quartz crystals.
What does a Crystal Reiki Treatment involve?
As in the case of many therapies, there is no fixed format that is common to all therapists. Most of the Crystal Reiki Masters place a configuration of crystals around their client (the Star of David Configurations is the one most often used).
The following is a description of a typical Crystal Reiki Treatment.
Prior to the Treatment
The Crystal Reiki Master may begin by agreeing/clarifying any terms with the client and then
conducting a brief consultation, typical objectives being:
a.. For the client and therapist to introduce themselves to each other, especially to ensure that the client feels at ease in what
may be unfamiliar surroundings;
b.. For the therapist to understand the client's expectations of the treatment, to clarify any issues that the client wishes to raise
and to ensure that the client knows what will happen next - e.g. that he/she may relax and enjoy the treatment but no
specific outcomes can be promised.
c.. The therapist may ask about the client's reasons for requesting the treatment and about his/her general health (so that if the
client requires - or may require - the therapist to take any specific actions then this is known).
d.. If the therapist suggests use of a treatment couch - as opposed to an appropriately clean and comfortable pad on the floor - then
he/she may check that the client is able to get onto and off the couch safely and comfortably.
All of the above are also true of other therapies, some of which also require more detailed medical histories from clients.
If for any reason the therapist considers that he/she is not an appropriate person to offer a Crystal Reiki treatment to that particular client that day then he/she should say so.
Similarly, if the therapist considers that Crystal Reiki is not appropriate for that person at that time (e.g. because the client has a suspected un-set broken bone) then he/she should also say so and not proceed to the treatment.
Crystal Reiki attunements can be a life changing experience.
During these attunements you will receive Life Cycle Energy Symbols which are a part of our own Atlantean heritage and culture. These symbols are identical to those symbols which were used by the High Priests and Priestesses in the Atlantean Healing Temples.

What is Enlightenment?
At the first level it is experiencing reality as it is.
The second stage of Enlightenment is to feel a tremendous sense of connectedness with the world around you.
You feel connectedness with the plant, with the human being in front of you, with the animal, with the mat on which you are sitting, to the sky, you feel connected to every thing and everybody around you.
The third stage of Enlightenment is where you experience oneness with the universe.
That is "I am this whole process called the Universe".
